On Saturday May 30th , the U18 Rockwood FC boys will host an Ontario Cup game at the Royal Distributing Athletic Center in Marden vs. the Richmond Hill Raiders. Kick off is at 1pm.
The Ontario Cup is the provincial soccer championships. It’s a lose one game and out competition.
This is the 8th season that these boys have played together. The team has played select, recreational, and competitive soccer, winning a number of league cups and earning the right this season to advance to the Ontario Cup.
The boys would love to have a crowd of cheering RFC fans, teams and supporters there. They’ve also offered to help out at a practice for the RFC team that gets the most players there dressed in their RFC jerseys.
So, if you want to see what hard work, commitment, and a love of the game can bring you, come out and cheer on the U18 boys this Saturday.
