The Rockwood FC U16 Nellis Construction Girls rep soccer team played 5 indoor soccer games over March Break at the Marden and Bechtel indoor soccer fields. The Rockwood Self Storage girls took home two wins with a 5-0 win over Cambridge & a 2-1 win over Woolwich, along with a 1-1 tie with Heads and two 1-0 losses against Puslinch and Kitchener. The Gamsby and Mannerow girls scored 8 goals and only let in 4 over the 5 games with great defenders and amazing goal keeping by Holly Eckerich and Tiana Fellows. The goal scorers with 2 goals each were Nikki Sinkner & Rachel Villa, while Sarah Ongarato, Darian Drewery, Gesse Roberts and Kiera Murison got a goal each for the Eden House girls soccer team. The team is looking forward to the upcoming outdoor soccer season.
